Eloise Lindebäck - Multi Disciplinary Artist

Eloise Lindebäck is a Sydney based artist who creates   works using non-traditional artistic materials. Eloise’s practice is concerned with the transformation of both places and found objects in order to recreate playful scenes from her imagination. By disassembling, modifying, recontextualising and joining objects, Eloise reinvents their meanings. The works are intended to be humorous, with the materiality of the artworks often in opposition to the objects intended use. Eloise creates the illusion of lightness, rhythmic and liveliness whist using heavy and stiff materials such as metal and wood. Eloise obtained a BCA in Visual arts & Creative Writing from the University of Wollongong in 2015. She has exhibited in both artist run spaces and commercial galleries in Australia and New York and recently undertook a residency in Bundanon. She was the recipient of the Randwick City Council Art Councillor’s Commendation Award, 2013, and was a finalist in 2014. Eloise is a member of the Kandos School of Cultural Adaptation  and is President of ARI Big Fag Press .
